Shoden Academy
Shoden Academy (Pty) Ltd . is a niche IT training company specialising in Storage, Systems Development, IT foundations and the practical applications of skills learned. It is sponsored by Shoden Data Systems and was established as an enterprise development project, in February 2007.
The Shoden Academy has two primary objectives:
- To provide accelerated technical, business, management and entrepreneurial training and education primarily to talented Black graduates with tertiary diplomas in I.T.-related subjects.
- To provide specialised IT training to corporate South Africa!
Not only has Shoden Data Systems sponsored the start-up of the Shoden Academy, but, in the role of a socially responsible citizen, Shoden Data Systems is also sponsoring talented black youth to achieve their dreams by affording them the opportunity to become successful via a fast-tracked empowerment programme through the Shoden Academy.
Together with the Shoden Academy, Shoden Data Systems has developed a demanding, highly successful internship-programme, which has been so well received that it is now a nationally highly-regarded programme of choice in the IT industry.
The Shoden Academy specialised training courses which are open to the public, are primarily related to skills which are useful in the storage mainframe environments and the full curriculum is listed on www.shodenacademy.co.za
