Shoden Data Systems UK Expands Across EMEA
London, UK, 1 September, 2010: Shoden Data Systems UK, an innovative provider of server and data storage solutions, today announced the expansion of its European presence to France, Germany, Israel and Spain through channel agreements with Systemic, Comparex, Ankor Systems and IPM respectively. Shoden, whose parent company is Africa’s largest independent IT solutions integrator, is already selling directly in the UK and Eire. Through these new channel agreements, Shoden will now be taking Data Domain, Fujitsu and Luminex solutions to the main European markets.

Shoden Data Systems UK survey reveals disk is the backup medium of choice 
London, UK, 2 April 2009: Shoden Data Systems UK, an innovative provider of data storage solutions for organisations facing backup and data recovery challenges, today published the results of an independent survey of 100 UK IT decision makers. The findings revealed that in some markets (retail, distribution and transport), up to 72% of organisations have already or are planning to implement disk-based as opposed to tape-based backup in 2009. According to the study, carried out by Vanson Bourne earlier this year, among the biggest proponents of disk-based backup is also the financial services industry, with 64% of respondents opting for disk over tape.
